Doug Grean

Doug Grean is a record producer, audio engineer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He plays guitar, bass, mandolin, lap steel, banjo, and keyboards. His recording studio is Pasadena, California, where he records and produces bands and singer-songwriters.

He has worked with many independent and professional artists, including Sheryl Crow, Ricki Lee Jones, Glen Campbell, Scott Weiland, Slash, Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots, The Crystal Method, Tim McGraw, Cyndi Lauper, Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow), Corey Glover (Living Color), Camp Freddy, DJ Hurricane, and John Taylor (Duran Duran). He has jammed alongside George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Ivan Neville, Willie Green, Charles Neville (The Neville Brothers), and Russell Batiste. 

Originally from New York, Doug studied music at Tulane University and performed in New Orleans for over 10 years. Since moving to LA in 1992, he gained his expertise in sound engineering at Clubhouse Studios, Artisan Studios, and as partner and musical director at Lavish Studios (Softdrive Records).

Grean has made numerous television appearances including: VH1 Legends, Last Call with Carson Daly, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and the 47th Annual Grammy Awards with Velvet Revolver as keyboardist performing "All Across the Universe" with Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Bono, Steven Tyler, Brian Wilson, and Alison Krauss.
